FAQs

Some questions come up time and time again about Write Rabbit’s work and processes.

So, if you haven’t found the info you’re looking for on the other pages of this site, the answers below might help you decide whether or not we’ll work well together.

  • A sustainability copywriter is a skilled professional marketing writer who combines engaging conversion-focused writing with strong knowledge of the sustainability landscape (including relevant legislation) to promote businesses that have either committed to integrating sustainability within their operations or have shaped their entire business model around delivering sustainable and ethical products or services. A sustainability copywriter crafts messages that resonate with environmentally-conscious consumers, connecting them emotionally to brands making a positive impact. These wordsmiths help businesses convey their values, build trust, and inspire action by translating complex subjects like net zero and biodiversity net gain into clear, compelling content. Our work involves understanding audience needs, aligning content with sustainability goals, and maintaining a balanced brand messaging. In an era where consumers prioritise ethical practices, investing in the services of a sustainability copywriter like Write Rabbit is essential for businesses looking to establish themselves as environmentally responsible thought leaders while engaging and retaining clients.

  • If your business is about to start, or has already started, its environmental and social sustainability journey, then you’re my cup of tea.

The scale of your organisation is irrelevant as long as you have a plan to grow your positive impact and the funds available to invest in high-quality professional copywriting and/or brand development.

Most of Write Rabbit’s clients are in the B2B space, but others have been social enterprises, community interest companies, professional services, and B2G organisations.

I will not work with any businesses in the oil and gas industry.

  • Yes, in most cases, I can. I have excellent research skills and the know-how to write compelling words for most services, products, and industries (as long as it’s not anything oil and gas related, of course!).

Part of the Write Rabbit process is that you’ll share the relevant industry knowledge with me and I’ll do my own research too. I use this information to give your target market exactly what they’re looking for.

However, if I feel I can’t write for your sector or industry, I’ll tell you. And, if that’s the case, I’ll do my best to recommend another writer who’ll be better suited to your project.

  • I aim to make things as straightforward for you as possible. Take a look at my Bespoke Services page to find out what working with me on a bespoke writing or brand development project looks like.

My Web Copy in a Week package has their own unique process.

  • If you’re looking for a quick turnaround on your website copywriting, sales page, or landing page project, why not consider Write Rabbit’s premium Web Copy in a Week package?

For bespoke projects, timelines depend on the scale of your project, your deadline, and what’s already in my diary. We’ll agree on specific dates before starting the work.

  • Nope, there’s no need. However, please be aware that the legal rights (copyright) to any writing belong to Write Rabbit until you’ve made your final payment. Once that payment comes through, the rights for the work transfer to you.

  • I aim to ensure you’re happy with your copy or content. So, I’ll do all I can to make sure that’s the case.

However, even if you don’t like the first draft, that’s OK… my premium web copy package includes one free round of revisions. For all other (bespoke) services, you have two free rounds of revisions that we can use to get your project just right. After that, there might be an additional charge for multiple revisions.

  • I get it: business is business. We all need to know what things cost so that we can budget accordingly. But, when it comes to writing rates, it’s often a matter of “how long is a piece of string?”. It all depends on what you need.

I charge a flat fee per project based on a variety of factors. These include the amount of research required, the number of outputs requested, the volume of writing per item, delivery format, etc. I need to know exactly what you’re after before I can give you an accurate price. For bespoke projects, contact me, and let’s have a chat about what you need.

Alternatively, you’re welcome to book the Web Copy in a Week package for a preset fee.

  • Writing for a business when I don’t have the inside track is a sure-fire way to fall short of meeting your needs and those of your audience. So, the more info you can share with me about your cause, values, target market, your products and services, and your desired outcome, the better.

Sure, it might take some time out of your day to complete the briefing document or take part in a kick-off call or brand workshop, but in the end, you’re saving yourself many hours and extra fees in additional revisions.

By providing a good brief, you’re helping me understand the project much better, and we’ll be on the same page. With a thin brief, I’m likely to spend way longer on the project, trying to guess what’s needed and making endless extra changes, each of which will be charged for.

  • I work remotely and usually only meet face-to-face for large-scale campaigns and projects that require an in-person consultation. For most projects, video calls and emails work perfectly well.

But if you’d really like to meet in person, I’ll do my best to make it happen. I will, however, charge an hourly rate for the meeting time and, depending on location, ask that you pay travel expenses too.

  • Yup, no problem.

Seeing a project through from start to finish is always a pleasure for me. And I love to collaborate! So, if you’d need me to work with your designer, web developer, or marketing department right up until publication or launch, that’s great.

Please keep in mind that this may incur extra fees because of the additional time I’ll be spending liaising with your in-house team or third parties on your project.
